Wilfred Emori is a Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and a recipient of the Sichuan High-level Foreign Talent Honors, awarded by the Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province, China. He holds a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering (with specialty in Corrosion Science and Protection) from the Institute of Metal Research, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, China, and has authored over 70 research papers and book chapters in related disciplines. His research direction focuses on the degradation behavior of metals and alloys in a wide range of environments.
